The PSYCH OpenIR is the institutional repository of the Institute of Psychology under the prestigious Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). Established in 2009 and built on the CSpace platform, it is one of the earliest institutional repositories in China and among the first of its kind to be recognized by the international registry OpenDOAR. 
PSYCH OpenIR aggregates, preserves, and disseminates the Institute’s full spectrum of scholarly outputs. It houses traditional academic content such as journal articles, conference papers, doctoral dissertations, theses, monographs, patents, and research reports, as well as multimedia and newer forms of knowledge output including images, videos, presentation slides, news items, and datasets. By 2023, the repository had comprehensively archived virtually all public-facing research outcomes since the Institute’s founding. It achieved an average monthly access volume exceeding 30,000 visits, with over 5,000 downloads—a testament to its broad engagement and impact. PSYCH OpenIR operates by the Pan Shuh Library.
